At last night’s Jefferson County Board meeting, County Administrator Ben Wehmeier discussed options for redistricting the county. One timeline for redistricting takes place over 45 days, and the other over 65 days. A public hearing on the redistricting will be held at their next meeting on September 14, and an additional County Board meeting was requested for November 16 for a final public hearing on the project and to approve the final plan.
