Janesville Residents Encouraged to Take Survey Regarding Next City Manager

According to an update from the City of Janesville, they are looking for input from City stakeholders to determine what skills and qualities the next City Manager should possess.

Community members can share their perspectives by completing the City Manager Recruitment Community Survey at www.janesvillewi.gov/cmsurvey. The survey asks participants to assess several core competencies for the position on a scale of importance. It also provides a free-response section for stakeholders to share additional views on what attributes they find most important for the next manager.

The questionnaire takes approximately five to ten minutes and is entirely anonymous. The City asks community members to complete the survey by October 26. All responses and comments received will be compiled and forwarded to the City Council to aid in candidate selection.

For residents without internet access, physical copies are available to the public at the Human Resources Office at City Hall (18. N. Jackson St.).

If you have any questions or need special accommodations to complete the City Manager Recruitment Community Survey, contact Human Resources Director Tara Semenchuk at (608) 755-3082.
