Janesville Promotes Godek To Finance Services Director

The City of Janesville has announced the promotion of a new city finance director. Dave Godek will now serve in the role from the interim title beginning on Monday. Godek began serving the City of Janesville in 2007 as Deputy Clerk-Treasurer and was promoted to Clerk-Treasurer in 2015. He has served as interim finance director since February, when Max Gagin announced his resignation. Godek and his family have resided in Janesville since 2008.
