According to a press release from the Janesville Police Department, on June 4 at about 9:10 p.m. officers were investigating a complaint in the 200 block of S. Jackson St. when officers saw 42 year old Janesville resident Anton May run inside a residence. May had active warrants for three counts of Manufacture/Delivery of Cocaine, five counts of bail jumping, possession with intent to deliver THC, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Officers entered the apartment and found May hiding in a closet. An officer saw marijuana in plain view on a table and a search warrant was executed at the residence. Officers seized several firearms during the search warrant. May was ultimately arrested, and so was Janesville resident Aikisha Tyler for Harboring/Aiding a Felon and Obstructing/Resisting an Officer. Illinois resident Jeffrey Mahalick was arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Obstructing/Resisting an Officer, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
