Janesville Police have made an arrest in a Sunday burglary. Around 5:30 AM, Janesville Police responded to the 1400 block of Barberry Lane for a report of a residential burglary. The suspect reportedly woke up a couple and the husband struggled with the suspect. The suspect had been in the home for several minutes and had attempted to steal several items. As the suspect fled, two of the victims’ firearms were dropped from his stash of stolen goods. After a brief investigation, police determined the man as 29-year-old Dillon Dutcher. Dutcher was also linked to several break-ins at businesses on July 26. He faces numerous charges and is being held at the Rock County Jail.
