According to a press release from the Green County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday at about 8:10 p.m. deputies, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Brodhead EMS, and the Brodhead Fire Department responded to the N600 block of County Trunk Highway T in the Town of Spring Grove for a report of a motorcycle crash with injury. Deputies met with the operator, 64 year old Janesville resident Rodney A. Shaw, who advised he was southbound on County Trunk Highway T when he attempted to negotiate a left turn onto Douglas Road. Shaw stated his motorcycle lost traction on gravel, causing his motorcycle to drive into a guardrail. Shaw was ejected from the motorcycle, was not wearing a helmet, and sustained non-life threatening injuries. Shaw was transported from the scene by EMS for further evaluation. The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
