Janesville High School Students Working to Bring Childcare to Craig and Parker

On Monday night at the School District of Janesville Board of Education Meeting, Elevate students at Craig High School presented to the board regarding the addition of a daycare to Craig and Parker High Schools. The students discussed how this would benefit employees with children and improve staff retention rates within the district, and high school students would get hands-on experiences within the classroom and volunteer or internship opportunities. Cost per child in the daycare program would be about $410 per month per child. More information on this project will be given as it becomes available.
