Janesville City Council Approves TID Development Agreement for Two Industrial Parcels

According to an update from the City of Janesville, on Monday the City Council approved a Tax Increment Development for the development of two industrial parcels located at 401 W. Venture Dr. and 2801 Progress Dr. This TID Development Agreement sees the City providing a 24.76 acre site. The contractor will build a 300 thousand square foot manufacturing/warehouse structure with construction beginning in spring of 2022. The project will produce $11,211,000 in guaranteed value with $256,159 in guaranteed annual new tax increment. For questions, contact Economic Development Director Gale Price at (608) 755-3059.
