Hoo's Woods Raptor Center Shares Marling Update

Hoo’s Woods Raptor Center has shared another update on Marling, the eaglet who fell from her nest last month in Janesville. Over the weekend, they met with a doctor for Marling’s post operation re-check. The center reported that everything went better than expected. However, they won’t know for a while if, or how well, Marling will be able to fly. X-Rays showed a lot of healing and growth in both her wing and leg. All pins were removed and Marling immediately began to preen (clean) her wing feathers. Marling will remain in the clinic another week as a precaution. The next step will be to graduate her from the clinic into one of the larger indoor mews and begin physical therapy.
