According to a press release from the Green County Sheriff's Office, yesterday at about 6:20 a.m. Deputies located a damaged vehicle in the W3900 block of County Highway EE in the Town of Mount Pleasant. The vehicle was found to be unoccupied, and sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Investigations showed that the crash occurred near the intersection of State Highway 104 and County Highway B in Rock County. The driver was identified as 24 year old Brady E. Mielke-McGlumphy from New Glarus. Contact was later made with Mielke-McGlumphy, who reported no injuries, no airbag deployment, and reported wearing his seatbelt. He was cited for failure to maintain control, failure to notify law enforcement of an accident, failure to notify the DMV of an address change, hit and run of property adjacent to a highway, and obstructing.
