Green County Sheriff's Office Responds to Overturned Vehicle

According to a press release from the Green County Sheriff's Office, yesterday at about 12:30 p.m. deputies along with Albany EMS, the Albany Fire Department, and Albany Police Officers responded to the W1300 block of State Highway 49 in the Town of Albany for a report of a commercial motor vehicle that has overturned. The driver, 71 year old Brodhead resident Robert D. Haberman Jr. reported being westbound on State Highway 59 when he proceeded to negotiate a curve. Haberman reported his vehicle entered the gravel causing him to take corrective action. As a result of the corrective action and the weight of the load, Haberman’s vehicle overturned onto its side. Haberman reported wearing his seatbelt and sustained injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported for further medical care. His vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Haberman was cited for failure to maintain control.
