Geneva Lake Police Issue Multiple Citations During Operation Dry Water

According to an update from the Geneva Lake Police Department, they in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources participated in Operation Dry Water on Geneva Lake July 2-4. As a result, Geneva Lake Police issued 20 citations for a variety of boating violations and arrested 2 boaters for Operating While Intoxicated. Operation Dry Water is a national awareness and enforcement campaign focused on reducing the number of alcohol and drug related accidents and fatalities and fostering a stronger, more visible deterrent to alcohol and drug use on the water.
