Evacuation Drill Occurring Today at Riverside Middle School in Watertown

According to an update from the Watertown Police Department, the Watertown Unified School District and The Watertown Police Department will be conducting an evacuation drill at Riverside Middle School today. Evacuation drills are done yearly at the schools for fire and other critical incidents. Parents, staff, and students have all been made aware that this is only a practice drill. The police department is asking the public to avoid the area, especially vehicle traffic, as some roads will be blocked during the exercise. If you are in the area, you will also see an extra police presence.
