EPA Leaves Fort Atkinson After Monitoring Ends; Firefighters To Monitor

Firefighters stopped their battle of the Oak Street fire in Fort Atkinson over the weekend. Around 8 AM Sunday, the EPA determined that monitoring was no longer needed and fire operations ceased. Firefighters were on scene for about 96 hours. Fort Fire says they will continue to monitor the site for another week and will prevent any flareups.
