A traffic alert for motorists in Beloit. The City of Beloit says that there are downed wires across Shopiere Road near Murphy Woods Road which has caused an emergency closure and a detour route for trucks. All traffic is being encouraged to find alternate routes. The expectation is traffic will reopen by this afternoon.
