Elkhorn Police took the time recently to speak to some of Elkhorn’s younger generation about bike safety. Elkhorn Police say that Detective Bass spoke to young kids about the safety necessities for riding bikes, including riding with helmets. Pictures from the talk are posted to the City of Elkhorn Police Department’s Facebook page. Elkhorn police are also sharing the list of fireworks scheduled by communities around the county in an effort to limit 911 and other phone calls about them that might be resulting from them. That list is posted to their Facebook page as well.
