Elkhorn Area School District Named National AVID Demonstration School

According to an update from the Elkhorn Area School District, they have been named an AVID National Demonstration School. Demonstration schools undergo a rigorous validation process and are exemplary models of the AVID readiness system that equips students with the skills for lifelong academic and professional success by creating a culture that supports high expectations and high levels of achievement for all students. Elkhorn Area High School will now serve as a teaching and learning center for others to observe how teachers are driving student success through engaging, rigorous, and student-centered learning environments.
