Edgerton Man Arrested for 5th Offense OWI

According to a press release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, yesterday at about 12:35 p.m. a Rock County Sheriff’s Office Deputy observed a blue Acura TL, northbound on N. U.S. Highway 51 near Black Oak Road cross the center line. The vehicle was stopped on N. U.S. Highway 51 near the intersection of Hurd Road in Fulton Township. The driver was identified as 61 year old Edgerton resident Timothy S. Beier. Beier displayed signs of impairment, and after an investigation was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated. Beier has four prior convictions for Operating While Intoxicated, making this arrest a 5th Offense, which is a felony. Beier was transported to the Rock County Jail and will be scheduled for Jail Court on Tuesday, September 13 at 3 p.m.
