According to a press release from the City of Fort Atkinson, the Dwight Foster Public Library has created 733 new library cards for children in the Fort Atkinson School District. Library Director Eric Robinson said nearly 1,100 families in the district indicated during enrollment they were interested in getting a library card. Some families had an existing card which was renewed for them. Families indicated their interest by clicking a single button during the enrollment process. The students will have access to many of the library’s materials for check out, including digital materials. The library cards will be mailed out in the coming days.
