According to a press release from the City of Edgerton, earlier this week City Council approved a Development Agreement with Edgerton Community Outreach for the redevelopment of 210 and 212 W. Fulton St. The city plans to purchase the property for $150 thousand by October 29. The purchasing of the properties has a condition that the previous owner, Mr. Arnett, use $50 thousand of sale proceeds to rehabilitate 2 Burdick St, which is another building downtown he owns. The properties at 210 and 212 Fulton St. being sold to Edgerton Community Outreach will be used for veterans in the community. There will be meeting spaces on the main floor, and apartments to serve veterans and low-income families on the upper floors. More information on this project will be given as it becomes available.
