Deputy Chief Terry Sheridan Retires from Janesville Police Department

According to an update from the Janesville Police Department, yesterday Deputy Chief Terry Sheridan officially retired from the Janesville Police Department after 30 years of service within the City. Deputy Chief Sheridan was hired in January of 1992. During his time in the department, he held various positions including patrol officer, identification officer, sergeant, and lieutenant. He came into his current position in April of 2018. Some of his other assignments have included working as a bike patrol officer, field training officer and coordinator, SWAT negotiator, and the police department’s first certified forensic sketch artist.
