In an update to the story we brought you regarding Dalavan resident Gerardo Baca, who is facing multiple sexual assault charges; on March 8 he motioned for a modification of his bail, with is at $500 thousand. On March 23, Attorney Goetz requested the bail be lowered to $70 thousand or for Baca’s family to be allowed to post property bonds in the amount of $200 thousand. The court denied the motion to modify the bond. This matter is currently set for preliminary hearing on April 8 at 9:15 a.m. in front of the Court Commissioner.
