According to an update from the Delavan Darien School District, their partnership with Gateway Technical College’s Transcripted Credit Program has provided high school students with a total of 508 dual credits for this academic year. Last year, this program saved students nearly $200 thousand. Transcripted credit allows high school students to earn both high school and Gateway credits simultaneously. Courses are taught by high school faculty at the high school using Gateway materials and curriculum. The high school teachers work with Gateway faculty members to ensure students are at the same level as a traditional student at the Gateway campus.
