Delavan Darien High School Notifies Families of Student Safety Incidents

Yesterday, a message was sent to Delavan Darien High School families after administration requested additional support from law enforcement after learning about two separate concerns. There was a threat that came from a student in a neighboring school district who made concerning statements to three Delavan Darien High School students. The involved Delavan Darien students have been collaborating with local law enforcement and administration.

In a separate incident, another student from Delavan Darien High School created and shared a video on social media directed towards one student at Delavan Darien High School. Local law enforcement and administration have collaborated with the student to and family to ensure the safety of staff and students. Various supports and consequences have been put into place a a result of these two incidents.
