City of Whitewater Reminds Residents of Snow and Ice Removal Policy

In an update from the City of Whitewater, they are reminding residents of the city’s policy which states snow and ice must be removed from sidewalks no later than 24 hours after a snow or ice event to be cleaned up by the owner, occupant, or person in charge of any building or lot fronting upon or adjoining any sidewalk. Ice that cannot be removed must be sprinkled with salt or sand. For more information, see the document below:
