According to an update from the City of Whitewater regarding the lake's drawdown project, the city is anticipating having the hauling trucks on the lake later this week. For this to happen, there must first be at least 18 inches of frost. Due to the cold weather, it is anticipated that this will occur soon. Crews may work later into the evening to benefit from the colder weather. If the ground has not frosted over enough to safely drive on, mats will be laid out for clearing and building additional routes. Tripp lake is freezing quicker than Cravath, allowing crews to work on Tripp this week and Cravath in the upcoming week.
