City of Whitewater Compost Site to Close for the Season

According to a release from the City of Whitewater, the compost site will close for the season at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17. The site will remain open on Saturdays from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and Wednesdays from 2-6 p.m. until the closing date. Additionally, a dumpster will be located at the Department of Public Works between November 22-December 3. This will be an additional opportunity to dispose of leaf and yard waste only, and no brush will be accepted. Access will only be maintained to City of Whitewater residents Monday-Friday between 7a.m.-3p.m. The City of Whitewater will be closed on Thursday, November 25, and Friday, November 26.
