City of Whitewater Announces Leaf and Yard Waste Collection

According to a press release from the City of Whitewater, the Department of Public Works will collect leaf and yard waste for the month of October between the 25-29. Residents may place their bagged yard waste on the curb no earlier than Saturday, October 23. For the month of November, collections will run the 8-12 and 15-19. Residents may place their bagged yard waste on the curb no earlier than Saturday, November 6. All bags must be brought to the curb for final collection on November 17. Yard waste must be bagged in 30 gallon or smaller biodegradable, clear or transparent bags only. Additionally, a dumpster will be available at the city garage between November 22 and December 3 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, with the exception of November 25, and 26.
