According to an update from the City of Janesville, the sixth cycle of downtown and outgoing main street sweeping is scheduled to begin early Thursday, September 29, and continue through Friday, September 30.
Sweeping activities begin early in the morning each day when traffic and street parking are minimal. On the first day of the cycle, City crews will sweep several main arterial streets. On the second day, City crews will clean downtown streets, parking lots, and the remainder of the main arterial streets.
The City encourages off-street parking of vehicles during street sweeping. Visit www.janesvillewi.gov/streetsweeping for more information, including a map of the street sweeping cycle. Street sweeping dates are weather dependent and subject to change.
