The City of Janesville says during their Five Years in Review report that was recently published that between 2016 and 2020, the city facilitated strong growth as well as a diverse local economy. The city says this was achieved through public incentives. In that timeframe, the City leveraged more than $167 million in private investments in the community, as well as creating more than 1 million sq ft of space, and had 329 jobs that were guaranteed.
