City of Janesville Encouraging Residents to Participate in Park Place Pickup

In an update from the City of Janesville, they are encouraging residents to participate in Park Place Pickup as the snow begins to melt. Park Place Pickup is a project that began in 2019, where residents are encouraged to photograph themselves picking up trash while enjoying Janesville’s parks, trails, and other outdoor facilities. The city reminds residents to participate safely by wearing gloves, dressing in bright-colored clothing, and refraining from attempting to collect potentially dangerous materials. Photographs can be sent to cojmedia@ci.janesville.wi.us, and submitted photos will go on the city’s social media channels. For questions, contact Communications Specialist Nick Faust at (608) 755-3094.
