City of Janesville Adds Locations for Lead Service Line Replacements This Week

According to the City of Janesville, there have been new additional locations scheduled for lead service line replacements throughout the city this week. Affected customers will be notified with a door hanger 24 hours prior to the work being started. Residents may experience water shutoffs, but they are estimated to be less than four hours in length. Additional locations include:


N. Palm Street from Laurel Avenue to Ravine Street*


N. Pine Street from West Court Street to Ravine Street*


Highland Avenue from North Pearl Street to North Pine Street*


Highland Avenue from North Pine Street to North Oakhill Avenue*


S. Wisconsin Street from East Court Street to East Milwaukee Street*


Prospect Avenue from Caroline Street to East Centerway*


Eisenhower Avenue from East Centerway to Glen Street*


E. Milwaukee Street from Milton Avenue to Garfield Avenue **


E. Milwaukee Street from Garfield Avenue to North Ringold Street**


Marshall Place from East Milwaukee Street to East Court Street*


Glen Street from Milton Avenue to North Garfield Avenue


Monroe Street from Glen Street to Walker Street


* Open to local traffic only during the construction process and will resume normal traffic upon completion of the service replacements on the day of operations.
