According to an update from the City of Janesville, this spring they have received many inquiries regarding the use of electric bikes on the City’s paved trail system. The City has since reviewed Wisconsin State Statutes and Janesville General Ordinances related to the trail system, and e-bikes will be allowed on the paved trail system. The city is reminding residents that the maximum speed allowed while on trails is 15 miles per hour. If you have any questions, call the Janesville Parks Division at (608) 755-3025.
