City of Fort Atkinson to Create Additional Ward

On Tuesday night at the Fort Atkinson City Council meeting, they discussed the amendment of Section 1-14 of the City of Fort Atkinson Municipal Code relating to voting wards and boundaries. This was a first reading of the ordinance, and the second and possible third readings will occur at the June 7 meeting. The amendment creates an additional voting ward in the City due to the annexation of the territory along Banker Rd. that occurred in July of 2021.
