According to an update from the City of Fort Atkinson regarding the Robert Street Bridge construction project, last week the concrete sidewalk on the bridge was formed and poured. Parapet walls on the west side of the bridge were started and were poured Friday afternoon. Pavement removal at the Riverside intersection is complete and base placement is underway, along with underground electrical. At the south approach, pavement removal is in progress.
This week, concrete approach slabs will be poured along with sidewalks, curb and gutter, and light bases. Traffic patterns will remain the same this week.
