In an update from the City of Burlington, they have shared the Mayor’s State of the City Address. Mayor Hefty noted that the city is anticipating an increase in housing and industrial growth, and this summer will hopefully bring the first development of housing to potentially bring in 300 units. Additionally, this year Jefferson St. will undergo construction with angled parking and green space. The Jefferson St. Bridge, a State project, will go out to bid and be replaced in 2023.
