According to an update from the City of Burlington, Water Utility will be flushing hydrants on Thursdays during the months of April through July to reduce and remove the accumulation of rust and iron in the City’s water main distribution system. Flushing may cause discolored water in your system, but the water is bacteriologically safe and will not harm you.
