According to an update from the City of Beloit Fire Department, an audit of the department by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services showed that they are in substantial compliance with the requirements of the statutes and administrative rules for the State of Wisconsin’s 2% fire dues program. The audit reviews inspection, prevention, public education, and training records, along with fire reports and other requirements.
