According to a Burlington Police Department press release, on Wednesday at about 7:15 p.m. officers were notified that homicide suspect Derek Goplin from Antigo was dropped off near the hospital in Burlington. Officers located Goplin, confirmed his identity, and confirmed there was a warrant for his arrest out of the Langlade County Sheriff’s Office for first degree reckless homicide. Goplin was put under arrest and taken to the Racine County Jail.
