Broadband Study Being Conducted in Rock County

Rock County is participating in a regional broadband study that will assist in identifying issues with internet access and speed. James Otterstein, the Economic Development Manager of Rock County, noted that residents and business owners can participate in the study by visiting http://madisonregion.org/industry-and-innovation/broadband/. The test does not utilize cookies, so users will not have to worry about data being stolen. This project is expected to wrap up around March, but may go longer depending on the amount of speed tests that are done. Otterstein noted that residents and business owners are encouraged to take the test their speeds multiple times in order to help gather more information.
