According to an update from the School District of Jefferson, at Monday’s school board meeting, Josey Whitehouse presented a bill that was drafted in Courtney Morris's government class. The bill proposed that seniors be allowed to paint a parking space to show their creativity and increase school spirit. Students will have to pay to paint their space and the money will go to a charity chosen by the senior class. The school board approved the bill.
