Beloit Woman Facing Charges Including Injury by Negligent Use of a Weapon or Explosive

Beloit resident 57 year old Valentyna Khmelnytskya is facing charges including injury by negligent use of a weapon/explosive, battery, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon after an incident that occurred on Monday. Yesterday in court a $3 thousand bond was set, and she is not to contact an involved victim, their residence, place of employment, vehicle, or elsewhere. She cannot possess any weapons, and must also maintain absolute sobriety. She has an upcoming court appearance on April 27 at 1 p.m.
