Beloit Woman Facing Charges Including Hit and Run

Beloit resident 42 year old Tiana M. Borgwardt is facing charges including throw/discharge bodily fluid at a public safety worker or prosecutor, battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor, or law enforcement officer, resisting or obstructing an officer, and hit and run after an incident that occurred on August 15. On Wednesday, a $1.5 thousand bond was set, and she was ordered to have no contact with an involved victim, their residence, place of employment, vehicle, or elsewhere. She also cannot have any intentional contact with Officer Robinson from the Beloit Police Department, and she cannot drive at all. Borgwardt has an upcoming court appearance on August 31 at 1 p.m.
