According to an update from the School District of Beloit Turner, Senior Taylor Viens was awarded a Duck Lake Award on August 27 for her colored pencil drawing of her dog Harry at the Association of Wisconsin Artists State Awards Ceremony. Viens’ drawing was selected to advance to the AWA State Exhibit in May, and was on display all summer at the Center for the Visual Arts in Wausau.
