Beloit Trash Services To Be Delayed; Fourth of July Updates

The City of Beloit says its trash and waste collection will be delayed by one day next week due to the July 4th holiday. This is different from what has been published in the city’s 2021 solid waste guide, which originally said that no changes would be made. More information can be found at https://beloitsolidwaste.com/pick-up-schedule/. Residents can also call 608-364-2929.

Also in Beloit, the city says that tickets will no longer be required for the fireworks show at the Beloit Snappers this year, as social distancing requirements have been lifted. The stadium will be first come first served until filled when at that time, everyone else will be asked to head to Telfer Park. The Janesville Symphony Orchestra will play at 7:45. The fireworks usually are at Riverside Park but were relocated for this year only. The length of the show is dependent on fundraising efforts.
