Beloit Residents Facing Multiple Charges for Burglary Incident

Beloit resident 32 year old Denise Nicole Williams and 36 year old Michael Paul Dunaway are facing charges including four counts of burglary to a building or dwelling, theft of movable property between $5-10 thousand, theft of moveable property of special facts, receiving stolen property between $5-10 thousand or a firearm, possession of burglarious tools, two counts of theft of moveable property less than $2.5 thousand, entry into locked coin box, and obstructing an officer for incidents that occurred between May 29 and June 9. The case was officially filed yesterday.


Dunaway faces additional charges of possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony, taking and driving a vehicle without owner consent, five counts of felony bail jumping, vehicle operator fleeing or eluding an officer, three counts of criminal damage to property, and operating while revoked.


Yesterday a bond of $10 thousand was set for each of them, and they were ordered to have no contact with an involved victim, their residence, place of employment vehicle, or elsewhere. They also cannot drive or possess any tools or contact each other.


Williams has an upcoming court appearance on Friday at 3 p.m., and Dunaway has an upcoming court appearance on June 24 at 2:45 p.m.
