Beloit Resident Facing Charges Including Attempt to Disarm a Peace Officer

Beloit resident 29 year old Jorge Bautista Almaraz is facing charges of attempting to disarm a peace officer and criminal damage to property after an incident that occurred on December 15. On Monday a $1,500 cash bond was set, and he was ordered to have no contact with the victims, their residence, place of employment, vehicle or elsewhere. He is also to have no intentional contact with Officer Dykstra from the Beloit Police Department. He has an upcoming court appearance on January 26 at 3 p.m.
