Beloit Police Take Beloit Memorial Students Into Custody After Incident This Morning

According to a post from the City of Beloit Police Department, this morning they responded to a disturbance at the Beloit Memorial High School cafeteria. Multiple students were taken into custody, and no weapons were involved in the incident. One officer received a non-life threatening injury while attempting to take a student into custody, and the officer was transported to the hospital by the Beloit Fire Department. Beloit Memorial High School was placed in a soft lockdown, which has since been lifted. More information will be given if it becomes available.
