According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, on Wednesday at about 9:50 p.m. callers near Yates Ave. and Hull Ave. reported hearing shots fired. Evidence of shots fired was recovered, but police did not receive reports of any person or property being struck. The investigation in this case is ongoing.
