According to the Beloit Police Department, yesterday at about 10:50 a.m. there was a fight at Beloit Learning Academy. 18 year old Matthew Kluth caused a confrontation with a student victim, and another 15 year old student also got involved in the disturbance. During the incident, Kluth hit and injured the victim. Two parents were also involved with one of them, who was identified as 36 year old Shatanae Mims, being cited for disorderly conduct. Kluth was arrested for intimidation of a witness, disorderly conduct, and battery.
